Sephiroth in Advent Children

So you all probably all know who he is If not he's the main villain from Final Fantasy VII role-playing game and one of the most iconic video game characters of all time. He is one of those bad guys that I personally just love to hate.

In the beginning I was going to paint the classic scene from the game, where he is standing in the flames ([link] ), but that have been done many times before, so I decided to go into an another direction. This is one of those scenes that were not showed in the actual game, but happened in the story nevertheless; Here Sephiroth is using the Black Materia (very powerful magical orb) to summon meteor to destroy the world.

And I didn't stop the changes in the direction there. He's armor, hair and face is here little bit different than in the original character artwork. Don't get me wrong, I was not trying to make him look better, as that would be utterly impossible. I just wanted to make my version of him and translate him in to my style. That being said, I think he is still very recognizable.

Edit: Did some editing to his eyes ^^
