Description
The O`Briennes of Chondal Wood are an old family of beer brewer/merchants with Eilora being one of the families head researchers. Her parents were both travelling merchants so she was mostly raised by her grandfather Flyndon, a cleric of Dallah Thaun and her grandmother Telu, the head researcher when she was alive. Eilora loved hearing tales of her grandmothers travels, gathering ingredients and meeting new races to create innovative brews, and always wanted to follow in her footsteps. This prompted Flyndon to train her as a cleric so she would have a way of protecting herself when she inevitably left. When her grandmother passed she was left behind the journals documenting her adventures. Including the beginning of a journey for a rumoured magical brew, with some ingrdients or places or people to help her quest.
Hiring a dwarven bodyguard - Eilora set off to begin her journey - meeting a group of unlikely adventurers on the path while settling down for camp one night the groups lives changed as they were dragged into the Mists of Barovia the group bonded over the horrors that occured and continued to travel together after - earning property in Waterdeep and eventually re-establishing Trollskull Alley as a local watering hole - partnering with the O'Briennes and the Casktanks before expanding their horizons.
20 years have past - after well-establishing themselves in Waterdeep the party started to split off
Lèonie the tiefling warlock gets called back home to her family home, completing her quest to prove herself a worthy heir to her families legacy.
Gimgrom the dwarven fighter turned Paladin of Lathander finally got to be a guard in Waterdeep, able to carry out his dream of protecting the people around him that he was denied before his journies began. He is mainstay at Trollskull alley - the apartments above the tavern becoming his place of residence with various party members using their old rooms for a temporary stop over
Robbie’s became a a world renowned wine maker still shunned by other elves for his ownership of land, but the bottles are very rare as they are made from wild grapes from the heart of a forest somewhere, only one bottle is produced every 3 years and each sells for an almost unimaginable sum, he has used the money generated from the wine to purchase at least 5 known forests in various kingdoms (a bottle of two of wine were used to make these deals with the local kings) the total area of these forests amounts to a medium sized kingdom but he has no interest in governing anyone, he only seeks to protect these lands and cultivate thriving ecosystems.
Pyrosia’s off doing sneaky Rogue things for her patron, she spent a good portion of time sailing the seas - meeting a cleric of Ilmater who helped keep her on the straight and narrow she rapidly became the most powerful of the old party. Forming a new travelling party with her cleric friend and eventually taking on gods! (the character was repurposed for a Pathfinder campaign)
Brambleclaw was bored with the city life and took frequent travelling holidays. Wowing the tavern patrons with tales of the magical lands and great adventurers that he met along the way
Eilora continued her travels to look for the magical brew rumoured after developing multiple new exclusive brews for the Tavern.
I miss this party some days - the first party I ever played in - we're missing a member but I cannot rememeber what they were meant to look like along with some other reasons the player may not want them included in their old forme. We keep in touch - most the stories are from the players they were created by
