Do it! You could always just use some old drawings you've already done, and just splice in some prose and whatnot, that's what I do.

CAT STEVENS! OMG! That is the style of illustration you remind me of! Like 'Teaser and the Firecat' and works by him. Whimsical, sad, poignant, funny and phantasmagorical type of dream-like images got me through my childhood and BAM there YOU are in the 21st century.
