whoo i felt like finishing this up, so i did. and i completley lost track of time when i was doing it because suddenly it was 2:30 am... blah, sleep, who needs it anyway?so it's melanie and stuff. i realized when i started coloring this that i haven't done her hair in this style yet, so that was kinda fun... n stuff. it took longer than usual but that's okay.
and yay, i like stars. and i love the combination of green and purple. they're shmexy together. yep yep.
so yeah. enjoy
i like how this one came out.edit: forgot to mention. title comes from the song 'star star' by the frames.

Very nice. I love the hair. The pose is nice, but it looks a little awkward in relation to the b/g. The bracelets and necklaces are really cool. And I really like the magenta-ish shade you used in the main b/g.

Green and purple are my favorite color combos after purple and orange (I'm a purple fan, btw). The way you painted on the stars looks so amazing and.. squishy. I mean, it looks like you could just poke them and they'd kind of give way like a pillow.. Anyway.. I really love her hair style and the colors you used for it, they really work well with her skin (fur?) tone and in some ways her expression. Her interaction with the background gives it an overall wonderful touch.. Most of the time with art, I always think that the characters, main or not, always seem so detached from the background, so kudos for pulling that off.

I agree about the color combo, never thought of it before, but it really makes those stars glow... with a kind of dim, fuzzy light. Love the cute pose and the nonchalant attitude of the character too.
