it was kind of hard to take it. people around here are not so much into being photographed.

It's hard not to notice that the focus is actually on the guy behind him. But then again with a 50mm it's really hit and run as i would call it.

after I've saw the picture on my computer I realized that the focus is on the guy in the back.whit a 50mm it is hit and run, bun it's more fun and here in Romania people are not too thrilled when they are photographed, so the 50mm it's perfect in my opinion

You might like to go in for the 'kill', but i'd prefer to stick with my 85mm to avoid the stares!

yes, it's better to avoid them...I'm thinking to buy a Tamron 28-80mm for my D60

That length sounds really good for a walk around.
I'm saving up for a 70-200mm to attain a voyueristic and invisible mode!

Very good capture. I love how you left bus poles in bright red. It adds so much to the composition.

thanks.it was a lucky snapshot, people avoid the camera, and are not too thrilled when they are photographed...I think that's why I like to do street photography...the only problem is that I don't know in wich category i should put them ...street, photojournalism or portraits
thank you so much for the fav

This is not photojournalism, it can be street and portrait both. But, in portrait people usually look at the camera and pose, so I would put this definitely in street. No doubt.
