Description
This is the linework for a new piece with Li Wing-Gi in a sort of... art nouveauish style. Not really, but it was inspired by it, particularly the work of Alfonse Mucha. He's pretty famous 'n' all.

Well, it was done with pencil sketch (aaaaas always!), inked with blue ink and now I'm gonna digitally color it. I considered using copic-type markers, but alas, I think they are too risky. I am relatively pleased with this one, and I don't want to accidentally fuck it up until I have a little better control of copic markers. That, and they're about 45 minutes away. XD

I like the vines, for the most part, that are over her chest and hip area. ARTEESTIC NOODITY FOR THE WIN. Not really. Anyway, it's going to be a bit idealized, which is something new for me. I'm sort of a realist, even if it doesn't show in my art. Since the beginning, I've been trying to find ways to do an realistic anime-influenced style, and now I feel stagnant and limited, so I thought I'd try some new stuff out.

The background I could take or leave. Indifferent. I like the pattern, but not the execution.

I like her eyes and her facial expression - they're exactly what I imagined.

This is sort of a symbolic one, which isn't all that new. When I get more done, I'll probably post more of what I'm trying to get at here.

Anyone want to take a stab at it?
