Melanie's Info;

Melanie was born and raised in Cherrygrove City in Johto region. Her family had farm just next to the city, where their family raised Mareeps. It was the job her family had done trough generations, and they still did. Her family, including her mom, dad, sister, uncle, aunt, granmom and grandad, lives in the farm.
Melanie had always dreamed of becoming a pokemontrainer - raising Mareeps wasn't what she truly wanted. Even that she suggested it couple of times, her parents said she was too young for that. So, Melanie trained with one of their Mareeps, secretly. It wasn't really strong pokemon, since it was raised only for it's wool, but Melanie had tons of fun imaging she was the greatest pokemon trainer ever.
After couple years of training, her Mareep suddenly evolved into flaafy. Melanie's parents told her it was okay for her to have it, since it wasn't any use at the farm. So, Melanie and her Flaafy began to train, and actually have few pokemon battles with other kids at the city.
Some time after starting the fights, a new kid moved into city. This kid's family had moved from Sinnoh Region, so they had all new pokemon with them. Melanie and the new guy, Jonah, soon became friends, who practised together. Jonah happened to have buneary, which he wanted to trade in from cost. Melanie didn't want to see her friend sad, so she told she could trade her Flaafy to the buneary. And so they did.
The buneary Melanie recieved was a boy that she named Prince. He wasn't just as strong as Flaafy, but Melanie took good care of him. They trained together all day, with or without Jonah. She soon forgot about Flaafy and became best friends with Prince
On Melanie's 14th birthday, Prince finally evolved into Lopunny. It was day of joy, beacouse Melanie's parents told her it was okay to finally leave the home and become a real pokemon trainer. Melanie was super excited when her parents decided to send her to Sinnoh Region, where Prince had orignally come from.
And that's where her journey started... She met tons of new pokemon, fought trainers and got gym badges. After a year of travelling around Sinnoh, she decided to take the challenge to win Pokemon Battle Frontier.

Desing details;

Most of the time, Melanie wears her outfit that includes turqoise shorts, scarf and white top. On her journey she carries her bag on her shoulder, but sometimes she leaves her bag to pokecenter when she goes to training with the team. It's beacouse her pockets are ~Magical~. In english, you can put all kinds of stuff into them, and it all fits there. Magical pockets, trust me.
One must in her clothing is her hat. She never takes it off, unless she goes to swimming or shower. She might even sleep with it. Her scarf is one must, too. She always wears it, even if it's too darn hot for that.
And her boots... uh, dont' ask. They're not really made for any specific landscape, but they're comftrable to wear and they look cool, so who cares?

The thermos bottle... Well, every time Melanie has her bag with her, she has the thermos, too. She has tea in it, always. She simply loves tea, there's no way she can survive a day without it. And the berries... they're for Punch, her Wooper. He eats tons of them, so you need bag full of them. Her journal is the last item to mention. Melanie always writes stuff in it, like all the victories, number of potions... everything, really. She also draws sketches all around the pages, just for fun.
And by 'things that every trainer should have' i actually mean few potions, pokefood, couple of revives, SUPAH ROD and money~ Plus all the stuff mentoined above c:

~MEET THE TEAM~

Steelix the... Steelix
Ability: Sturdy
Type: Steel/Ground
Nature: Sassy
Item: Flame Plate
Attacks: Magnet Rise, Iron Tail, Fire Fang, Ice Fang
Info: While Melanie was training at the Iron Island with her team, she encountered many Steelix. She wasn't satisfied with the way they looked, though - they weren't strong enough for her team. After hours of looking, she finally encountered her Steelix. It was bigger that last ones, and it was almost too strong for her do defeat. After finally catching the Steelix, Melanie couldn't think of a good name for the Steelix, like she usually did. So the Steelix never had a name, he was just called Steelix. It was okay with the Steelix, though, since he seemed to be satisfied with the way he was.
At first, Steelix was little hard pokemon to handle and train. But as Steelix became stronger, he also started to have bond with his trainer and he became decent part of the team.
After every victory, Steelix likes to show off... More than a little. He roars like a king kong, and sometimes you might even wonder if he knows he IS a steelix. He isn't too friendly with rest of the team, and he can be really meanie what it comes to Maggie, Punch and Cello. He doesn't care what others think of him, since he finds himself perfect. Still, he enjoys their company, even that he doesn't like to admit it. He consires himself as the strenght of the team, so he has hard times with groupworking.

Prince the Lopunny
Ability: Klutz
Type: Normal
Nature: Careful
Item: Quick Claw
Attacks: Mirror Coat, Return, Ice Beam, Thunder
Info: As the text said above, Prince was Melanie's second pokemon, but her company as she started her journey in Sinnoh. Prince has always been loyal to his trainer, since he never had strong bond with his previous trainer.
As they went on on their journey, Melanie caught new pokemon. Prince wasn't used to other pokemon, and was slightly scared of them. He had hard times to make friends with everyone, but now he's almost like mom to other team members along Melanie. He isn't really boyish, and hardly ever acts like it. In fact, he adores things such as flowers and cute pokemon. He's often teased by Steven, who was next pokemon after Prince.
Even that Prince isn't just as brave as his name might tell, he's good partner and pokemon to have. He's really strong, and really useful pokemon. Even that he doesn't like other pokemon fighting, he enjoys battles as long as no-one get seriosly hurt.

Steven the Umbreon
Ability: Synchronize
Type: Dark
Nature: Impish
Item: Amulet Coin
Attacks: Quick Attack, Confuse Ray, Shadow Ball, Bite
Info: As Melanie reached Hearthome City, she recieved Steven as a Eevee from a lady living in the city. Melanie couldn't resist cuteness of Steven, so she accepted the lady's offer. Training Steven was slightly hard at first, since he didn't know any useful moves. But Melanie didn't want to give up with training him, and neither did Steven. After long days of fighting, Melanie and Steven became good friends. Once they were finishing the training, Steven finally evolved and became Umbreon.
After Steven became Umbreon, he happened to turn out into even harder nature than he was as Eevee. He had a bad habit, which was collection shiny things. And beacouse of the good cause, he didn't care how he got those things. He often stole something from other trainers, which sometimes caused trobule to him. Other thing he really likes is teasing rest of the team. He often says something he finds clever, even that it sometimes sounds stupid. His most favorite person to tease is Prince. Even that he often does that, he still thinks he's friends with everyone in the team. He often tries to get others to join to his crimes, with failing end. But he's strong willed fighter, who never gives up... Not easily.

Punch the Wooper
Ability: Damp
Type: Water/Ground
Nature: Rash
Item: Berries, any kind
Attacks: Surf, Iron Tail, Earthquake, Ice Punch
Info: After visiting The Great Marsh, Melanie had caught three woopers in total, since she had fel in love with them back there. There was one she find even more adorable than others, and she decided to take him into her team.
This little guy was named Punch. Punch wasn't really strong pokemon, and to be exact, he was no use in battles. He was simply too weak. So, he became the mascot of the team. Melanie kept training him along journey, but it seemed almost useless to make him strong. Punch didn't care to evolve, which was just fine with Melanie. When the team finally was training at Iron Island, Melanie noticed how strong Punch had became. He couldn't stand strong pokemon or longer fights, but he easily beat up ice and rock type pokemon.
Punch is still a child, and he always acts like it. Beacouse of his childness, he can't communicate with other pokemon like they normally do. All he can say is 'Woo'. He also has a childish habit to taste everything he sees, which causes hard time to team members that look after him - Maggie and Cello. Punch has weakness to berries that he happens to eat almost all the time. That's why Melanie has to carry tons of berries with her, to keep Punch happy.

Cello the Cerubi
Ability: Chorophyll
Type: Grass
Nature: Clam
Item: Magical Seed
Attacks: Take Down, Leech Seed, Magical Leaf, Solarbeam
Info: How Cello joined to the team was a pure accident. While visiting Valley Windworks second time, Melanie and Co. noticed Cello, that accidentaly fell from the tree. She was hurt, and luckily Melanie was looking for Cherubi to catch. It was easy thing to catch her, and even easier to train. Cello really enjoyed to battle against other pokemon, even that she was small and weak. But beacouse of her guts, she soon became strong part of the team.
Cello is very good friend of Punch and Maggie. She always looks after Punch and rides on his head as the team travels from city to another. It's a free ride with nice view~ Cello often has to keep the team together and say the wise words. She hardly gets angry at any of the team members, but she does show if she's not impressed about their actions.

Maggie the Magby
Ability: Flame Body
Type: Fire
Nature: Mild
Item: Lava Cookie
Attacks: Confuse Ray, Lava Plume, Faint Attack, Fire Blast
Info: After having the surf from Pastoria gym, Melanie fought against pokebreeder in order to train a little. One of their pokemon was Magby, that she immedietly fell in love with. She had to get one, no matter what it cost. So, Melanie and Co. went to Fuego Ironworks, in order to caught male and female magmar. It was long procces, but after a long wait she finally recieved an egg from the daycare couple.
The egg took a long time to hatch, and it finally hatched after the training session she had at Iron Island. Maggie was still weak, so she just travelled along with the team first. That's how she and Punch got closer. They weren't strong, so they took care of each other. Maggie soon became babysitter of him along Cello, and they became the mighty trio of the team. Maggie is a bright and happy girl, and she often knows what to do. She has good strategies in battle that were one reason how she actually became strong, and part of the team for real.
