While I am mainly a Sonangle (Sonic x Tangle) fan, the idea of Sonic dating Lanolin has been growing on me ever since I saw their interactions in issue 57. Its clear that Lanolin has a great deal of admiration for the blue hedgehog. Whats more, she's not blind to Sonic's faults and was even quick to take note of Sonic and Tangle's recklessness.

I've noticed that some fans have compared Lanolin's personality to that of Sally Acorn, Sonic's former flame in the Sonic Archie comics. While it is highly unlikely that this version of Sonic will be starting any romantic relationships any time soon, its good to know that even here, our hero has people to remind him to approach things with caution and not just rush head first into danger without a plan.

No doubt due to Lanolin serving as a background character before she got a more major role in issue 57 (and the fact that by now, most fans pair our hero with Amy Rose), this particular pairing probably won't be getting much attention. But that doesn't mean we shouldn't at least give this particular ship a chance to sail before its too late. So with that in mind, what name would you give this pairing? Sonolin? Lanoic?
