I know Canadian Skeeter Buggies all too well.... Along the Thompson River and in Wells Gray Park I have been attacked by angry swarms that seemed to go on forever!!!

Yes, they never seem to give up! We even stopped to buy misquitoe spray but they must have become immune to it because it didnt stop them! :S

When the bite is on you had better be gone.... Those beasts around the lakes & rivers in Southern BC were nasty at times... Other times during the Spring & Summer it was not a problem to be out, even in the early evening.

I miss the frozen North and all the beautiful back country. Had lotsa good times in the interior of BC...

Yeah, they haven't been really a problem this summer at all because it's been such a coooold summer for us... but recently it's started to get really hot and those monsters are eeeverywhere!!

BC is gorgeous, I've always wanted to spend some time either camping or at a lake somewhere in the mountains...

I lived in the Kamloops area for almost 7 years... I spent a lot of time exploring the rivers, lakes and provincial parks in the summer. And Skiing in the winter.. Too much fun.

That sounds so nice! I was in Vancouver for Christmas and we went up Grouse Mountain for the night ski... it was amazing!

Look up Sun Peaks... this is just outside Kamloops on Todd Mountain and is a great place to ski. I spent too much time there...

Silver Star is a fun and very unique ski area just outside Vernon...

It's a beautiful portrait, but I think, the eyes could be sharper. they look a little bit sloppily (hope its the right word)
