Description
I was just messing around in Photoshop and I was trying to come up with a cute background for my new deviant ID and I wound up making this.

How I made it:
I made a PSD that's 256px X 256px.
I clicked on the custom shape tool and I set it to a star.
I placed a star in the center of the canvas.
I defined the star as a pattern.
I made a new PSD that's 8.5in X 11in.
I clicked on the paint bucket, set it to pattern, then selected the star pattern I made earlier.
I clicked on the canvas to fill it with black stars, then I went to filter>other>offset in order to offset my pattern.
Next I used the magic wand tool to select the white space and I delete the pixels so I could see the checkerboard.
Then I created a new layer above the stars, and then I made a gradient with pastel colors.
Finally I applied a gradient to the blank layer and changed the blending mode to lighter color (I think that's what it is anyways, I can't remember).

I'm making this pattern/texture/whatchamacallit free for everyone to use. Please credit me if you use it.
