Description

This is my part for the artbook project My first videogame on facebook. I'm very glad to be a part of this hobbyproject. It wasn't the first videogame I've played, it my first own game. It was a birthdaygift. I loved it to play it with my mum and my sisters (my brother wasn't much interested in gaming). They were mostly playing for me and reading the text for me, because it was too small and I think I haven't learned reading in this time. (lol) When I was playing for my own, than I was allways playing the first stage "Make eggs, throw eggs". I was loosing but I tried it again and again until I learned where the enemies were. Maybe this could sound stupid for you but I think it was okay for me with visual impairment.
I also remember that I ALWAYS wanted a yoshi plushie but there weren't Yoshiplushies, so my brother gave me his old crocodile plushie. It has a white belly and the rest of the body was green, like yoshi and it also has the orange um... I don't know how to call it... Maybe spikes? It has also orange spikes, so I imagine it to be a yoshi and he got a special place between my yoshi plushies

Good old memories.

I wanted to draw yoshi, Mario, some shy guys and the others at the first stage, because I played it mostly when I was young. I also tried to copy the artstyle as good as I can, because the artstyle of the game is just wonderful and colorful.

Mario and Yoshi were making me always happy and I think the fandom is really friendly (Miiverse doesn't count completly... there are some strangers who are calling people they should die.... I mean mostly the artisits and writers.)
It is a special feeling, because I'm allowed to be a part of this project and be also allowed to draw a picture about my most beloved game.
