I don’t know if it’s the color or the taste, but I crave it strongly in the Winter but only in the Winter.

Personally I enjoy it all year long, though maybe I get your point. During cold seasons a warm risotto is a good choice, while during warm seasons a more fresh option such as a rice salad sounds more enjoyable.
