Description
What were you thinking??This little guy lives in the pond behind my new apartment building. I took this from my deck which provides for a wonderful view of the whole ecosystem.

Oh there are TONS of frogs too. Actually I have come to discover that this is a muskrat and I have a whole muskrat family living in the pond. They are fun to watch. The babies are cutting down their own reeds these days and carrying them about.

Groundhogs don't swim though. This little one swims in the pond all the time.

Yes! I believe you are right. I found my binoculars and it does look like a muskrat. But I think I'll keep the picture title the same. See if I can get a few more bait and switch accusations.
