if you had, you wouldn't call it perfection. We look perfect on the outside, but we're all falling apart inside.

I have not "tried having". don't you think that it doesn't strain me to think about eating, weight and all that fuck?
"Looking perfect on the outside and falling apart inside" is something that fit to anybody who has anorexia and a bmi of ~17.

btw, i dunno if i'd call my ED "anorexia", but I am involved to my desease since i am 12 yrs old.

then you should know, it isn't perfection? Are you happy about being sick?
I've been sick... oh god, always maybe? When I was about 4-6 years old I said after every meal; I'M ON A DIET, I'm going out for a run.

You can't really use BMI. Fx. you have really thick and heavy bones and that makes you weigh more, then you have high BMI and weight, but everyone can see you're skinny.

I'd like to weigh around 50kg but pro ana was when I was 12-16, now i'm not pro ana any more since ~ 1 1/2 years, i just wish to have a NORMAL relationship to food, thats all.
I had starving, binge,vomiting, eating normal etc. i think you know this all.
But most of anorexic people strive for being thin, don't they. so beingt thin is "perfection" for them, isnt it. it is for me.
and: would you deny that even PRO ANAS - although you can't undertand them - aren't sick?
i've spend time in the pa-scene and i can tell you, Most of them really suffer from psychologica deseases.

yes, most of them does... but still there are too many who doesn't.
Maybe perfection is to be thin in a anorexics world... and it is to me, but I won't go out and say it. Then I help other girls into my diesease and that is something I don't want.
Anorexia have ruined my life, and I'm never gonna live normally again.
My teeth are ruined because of the vommiting, my skin is dry, my bones are totally destroyed because of the starvation. I'm living this right now, and I hate when people say "Anorexia is perfection." Then they haven't tried it.

i dont think you can 'try' anorexia, or bulimia, or any eating disorder really, eating disorders are mental, they are 100% in your mind, and it all comes down to a fear of food, you have an eating disorder bacause in some way or another you are afraid of food. im anorexic, i know i am, mine is just starting to get off the ground, its been off again on again for YEARS, and its now turning into a full blown disorder, im afraid of food i know i am, i go on pro-ana sites, and the general feeling i get with them is this, if you HAVE an ED then we will support you and help you, but if you dont or if you wanna use this to 'diet' then we aren't going to give you 'tips' or 'advice' on how to get started, i dont think anorexia is perfection, far from it, and i agree with your statement that we may look perfect on the outside but we're falling apart inside, but at the same time, that can go for most people, i dont look anorexic, im 30lbs overweight actually, and no thats not body dis-morphyia talking, its true, my doctor even said i need to lose weight.. anyways.. people who really have ED dont do it to be skinny, they do it because they are sick, i am sick, any girl (or guy) who has ana or mia to be thin or 'pretty' is trying to be like those of us who actually have ED, we dont do it to be thin, we do it because we are scared of food, and that is how our body reacts to it.. just sayin.. srry this is so long and like 3 years late xD but i just thought id put my two cents worth in there, lovely picture, its absolutley amazing
