I like! You did well with Cobalt's character design - everyone instantly likes him! I like his word balloon - I was imagining a somewhat whispery, uneven voice.
Okay, what do you use for ink? Because I really had the worstest time EVAR with finding ink that was black and smooth and didn't EAT MY SINUSES!
Do you black it out after you scan it into a program?

I use these pens for every line in the comic, sans panel borders: [link]
What I do is scan the pages at 300dpi in 'black and white' mode. This turns every pixel in the image to either blackest black (50% gray and over) or whitest white (under 50% gray) with nothing in between. So everything evens itself out! WORD OF WARNING, THO: if you're making really thin or scratchy lines some of them may get thresholded out.

Ah ha! I have a brush pen like that but it's rather touchy about which direction it goes and will punish every foolish, mis-directed movement with much spattering.
Hmm, very well then. I've been trying to find black that is even enough to make good originals without Photoshop handling. Le sigh.
However, this is good advice - thanks! I was failing muchly at my Photoshop handling of my B&W comics and now I shall be SAVED!

Oh, in that panel where Cobalt asks "How did you find me?", pompous mcshiftybutt's speech bubble cuts through the bubble's arm thing and it's the only bubble like that and you probably know that already but I just needed to say somethiiiiiiing. :0
