I found a small issue with the menus the other day... When the menus take up two or more columns, trying to move from the main menu to a sub-folder wouldn't keep the sub-folder open.
I figured out that making the transparent borders in 'back.png' smaller solves the issue... If anybody else has that problem, grab this file here: [link]

But thanks again !

I love this theme !!
btw, how do you get the actual chat window in Miranda to change. I can only get the contacts list to change and I've gone through pretty much every option. You probably answer these kinds of questions a ton but help would be appreciated.

One of the best (if not the best) theme for LiteStep ever. Very minimalistic, very clean, very smooth... very slick. After I did small changes to it, theme fits my needs perfectly. Great work. Thank you!

Hey mynimal, great theme! I was wondering how I can add a taskbar in the bottom left corner of the screen that looks identical to the system tray?

Miranda IM. A bit hard to customize if you're a beginner, and the MSN network is troublesome, but it's still really good. [link]

Hey there mynimal, tis Karl here. I've downloaded litestep and using this theme and I was wondering how come whenever I open up programs and such it still uses the visualstyle that I had applied before hand. Is this meant to happen? Also, whenever I install the theme and then apply it, it asks to download some stuff and one of the things asks to download 2 dlls but I can only select 1. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

For the VS, it's probably a problem on your computer or litestep's end. Try re-applying it and rebooting.
And can you tell me the two download options?

I also have a problem with the clock in the corner cutting off the info in it. PS what theme are you using underneath it? The one that appears on the IM client?

It's been 5 years since I uninstalled Litestep, but this theme is so much nicer than anything else I've seen that I decided to reinstall the program. It goes great with one of the Milk OS X inspired visual styles. Glad to see a theme that isn't full of meters and gages and assorted ugly extras that I would never use. My only complaint is the lack of a quick-launch bar (well, and the fact that I prefer the winamp control to stay on top, which I changed for myself), but both are just personal preference. Great work.

Virtual desktop manager eh? Is that the thing with all the little rectangles in it for the windows? Or is it the thing where you can go through different desktops? If you mean the latter - I noticed that in another theme and thought it was pretty nifty. Might make it an option in my next release.

hizaguchi In reply to mynimal [2005-12-09 20:11:16 +0000 UTC]
I think both, if I understand what you're saying. It is usually (though I guess it could look any way you want) a set of boxes that represent different "virtual desktops" and you can click on them to switch desktops. What it does is basically hide all of the open windows and replace them with another set that you have open on the "other desktop". It's nice for keeping your desktop from getting cluttered with windows without having to close any of them... you can just put them on the other desktop. It's also nice if you're playing full-screen games that run in a window, and want to have something else going on at the same time. I usually chat on one desktop and play emulators on the other. I don't know how much RAM it eats up though. I like that litestep with your theme is only using 9 MB right now.

Yeah, because I don't think all these little toots and whistles should be added to a suite whenever possible and end up with a bloated hunk of crap.
