it looks like a painting and it reminds me of the work of one of my fav artists, hundertwasser. maybe especially because of the colours. it looks fatastic.. they eye wanders around and doesn't know where to rest because of the many forms and colours.
and i'm terribly afraid of heights, too btw

Wow. I really thought it was a painting from the thumb. The textures and effects you added to it really did the trick. Awesome job....the back especially with the clouds/smoke, it looks like a drawing from a book, vividly done and detailed. Funny how you think some pictures are photos and turn around and think some photos are paintings. xD
