Description Blasting off into the sunset.

One of the most beautiful sunsets I've seen. Unfortunately there was too much in the way for a pure sunset shot, and I was forced to leave before the grand finale of the sunset. What you see here is actually the sunset reflecting onto the clouds oposite it. So, the sunset was to my back at this point. I wish I can set shutter priorities on my camera, that's why the plane looks a tad funky.

Honestly it was not a fun expierience at all.

Full view is always better.

The plane looks oddly darker than my mind says it should be for the amount of light.

Reminds me of that scene in Good Will Hunting, where the song "Angeles" is on and he's watching the plane cruise overhead.

Ty ty, There was definately some interesting light to work with there....I had the beginning of a spectacular sunset behind me. Unfortunately I was run off by that cop before the sunset climaxed....Oh well. shit happens. Damn this post 911 paranoia crap.

yeah, i know...I even worked the plane a bit..it was a lot worse than it was..... slow shutter speeds. Oh well. I still like it...and glad you like it too. Thanks for the fav, btw MUCH apreciated.

Oooh, I've got a passion for flying, so I love this no matter what .. The symmetry is great in this.. The plane deviates from that and adds a really cool touch. It's a bit blurry, from a longer exposure time, I guess? It might be more effective if it was sharpened. Regardless, I love it

Not like you had any control over it but the plane is too close to the post for my tastes, if it was a tad more to the right it would've been awesome! Not that it isn't, the sky's color is brilliant and rich and the way you set up the picture with the post and the horizon is wonderfully done!

Vanilla sky because the yellow tons of the clouds at the middle of the image, its a fantastic compposition
the air plane helps, its such a complement to give personality to the image

When you say vanilla sky, what do you mean? :-D not sure I like the plane tere or not. ....i wish I had gotten the photo more symmetrical...it's a tad off..and it bugs the hell out of me.

One of the best things about this is the addition of subjects... It makes this sunset so much more interesting! The colors are amazing here...I feel like I'm really there!
