Behold my incorrigible handwriting! These are the doodles for "Kindertale Christmas."It's kinda funny that I was fussing over what everyone's sweaters should look like, and then you can hardly see any of them in the final drawing.
But yes, this is my process for drawing. I get an idea, and then I doodle a bunch in pen, because (a) it stands out against my pencil homework, lol, and (b) it forces me to draw more loosely, since I can't erase mistakes. If something is wrong, I just redraw the line, or scribble it out and start over. Or I write something off to the side. (I write notes to myself a lot, and I'm not too sure how that habit started . . .)
Anyway, for this drawing in particular, I had to jump back to my other style since I wanted it to match my older Kindertale drawing. That was fun. Also a tad cringy.
I remember having some difficulty with Undyne, since I didn't quite like how she looked in my other drawing (hence the cloud of Undyne faces there). Of all these doodles, I'd say I like Alphys's best.

I remember when I doddled so much in my notes for chemistry my teacher docked me some points.

It's good none of my teachers have checked notes (yet).
Usually I try to keep the doodles off to the side, but sometimes . . . my priorities get a little mixed up.

haha. The boring homework is done in cheap pencil while the important stuff is done in pen so that it can be readily observed.
Your Alphys is adorable (no other word to describe it) and putting eyelashes on her glasses makes perfect sense.

Yeah, I just have to make sure it's old homework and not something I have to turn in (unlike that one time . . .).
I was expecting Alphys to be more of a trouble spot, but she actually came together rather quickly.
I think I like doodle-Alphys better than the final version---probably because of the angle.

And oh my gosh I love love love Undyne with curly hair! Sooooo cute! And I agree, Hello Kitty Alphys turned out the best. Ahhh they all look so squishy and huggable, I want to gather them up and smoosh my face in them!

(is mildly impressed you can read them) This has a lot of ramble-notes even for me, but it was kind of an ambitious drawing, so . . .
I have to say that's my favorite thing about drawing Kindertale---everyone is smol and soft!

You know your handwriting is extraordinary when someone looks over your should and asks what language it is.
