You've got the texture of the iris down wonderfully. I don't know about the skin colours around it - seems excentuated - as though the eye were popping out at you (those odd photographic lenses.) But still, very wonderful.
You're liking this new medium - and I think your fans are also liking it.

for a 3rd atempt at acrylics... it sure looks good to me. all those colors in they eye itself.. wow.. looks great.
remeinds me of why i stay away from color myself.. i jsut..CANT see it... you sure can though.
