My hands are still dirty even after washing them ten times already...On one hand, pastels are messy to work with and given that I'm a lefty, I'm not used to drawing with pastels.
But on the other hand I have box of pastels that I got for Christmas two and half years ago that I don't want to go to waste. Haven't got many artistic friends and I'm always up for room for improvement so I decided to make a few pastel paintings this summer while the days are longer.
These are actually two separate drawings. First, I drew the dog but since I'm a novice at pastel painting, I cut out the dog and drew a background on a separate piece of paper and just glued the two together.
Not bad for a beginner,at least I think so.
