When you come down from a family with a high reputation, you are usually burdened with a daunting responsibility. Maintaining your family pride and honour, maintaining your image to others, the list just goes on and on. But with Rose Kauneus, this is not the case. Despite descending from a family with a high reputation, Rose was never told to stay in line, or always be like this, or that. The only thing Rose's parents always told her, was to just be herself. The only time she's not herself, is when she's at any sort of professional events, in which case she will put on a formal façade, until the event is over. Once it's over, she returns to her normal and casual self. One of the things in Rose's life, that she never intended to happen, was attracting armies of boys and having them fall at her feet. As a girl, Rose always kept her looks in check, those looks mainly regarding her face. She didn't mind what she wore, as long as the one thing that people focus on looked alright. But what she was never aware of until the age of 14, was that her stunning looks, caught the attention of hundreds of guys. But despite how many she attracted, none of them really appealed to her. Until she came to Beacon.

Half a month after completing her training at Signal Academy, Rose began her journey to Beacon, in which from the very start(as soon as she boarded one of the Beacon airships), guys fell to their knees left and right, at first sight of her. Even after the trip on the airship, studs that had no hope in winning her heart whatsoever(yet they still tried) kept flirting hopelessly with Rose in an attempt to get close to her. Of course all attempts have failed, due to Rose's witty thinking, always coming up with the right kind of response that'll keep 'em off her tail even for at least 15 minutes. Her only safe havens are the girls' restrooms and her team dorm. On another note, only a small amount of the male students at Beacon didn't hopelessly flirt with Rose, which was comforting, even if the number of those guys compared to the rest of the guys were like a needle in a haystack.

Personality:

Despite her history, Rose is a very calm, yet casual person, whom can usually get along with anyone just fine. Unless the person in question refuses to co-operate or something, in which case, Rose will either give up, or persist, depending mainly on the person. Even on the battlefield, Rose somehow manages to keep her cool, except she's just more determined and focused.

Relationships:

-Orion Scarlatina: Rose respects Orion as both a leader, and sayer of wise quotes. And as a friend, appreciates Orion's company. Rose also likes Orion for being one of the few male students in Beacon to not fall for her just for her looks. The two however, share no intimate connection, though they are often mistaken for having one(and still, other studs press on).

-Raven Equilibrio: Rose tries to get along with Raven as well as she can, but in comparison, Rose gets along with Raven better than Orion or Dia can.

-Dia Shouja: The friendship Rose and Dia share is like that of sisters. They always help each other out, occasionally get on each other's nerves, and love to embarrass one another.

-Pyrrha Nikos: Due that the two are both well-known, good-looking individuals(the only difference being that one is a celebrity), the two occasionally help each other out of sticky situations. The majority of those situations having to do with hopeless flirts. But aside from that, the two get along just fine.

-Jaune Arc: Despite being a hopeless flirt, Jaune is actually one of the few that Rose can actually live with. Mainly because he's only ever tired once. And because she found his attempts at flirting to be quite amusing.

As you can plainly see, I decided to try a different sort of shading style. The one I use now, combined with the way I used to shade back then. It's experimental at this point, so I don't know if I'm gonna continue using this technique.
