Here's my entry for 's Bleach/Naruto Crossover Contest!

Here's the story:

Ichigo and Rukia sat on the roof of Ichigo's house, watching the clouds pass by overhead. It was a beautiful, sunny day and they couldn't find anything fun to do.

Suddenly, Rukia, stood up, an excited look on her face. "Hey, Ichigo, why don't we cosplay?"

Ichigo gave her a blank stare. "Cosplay?"

"Yeah!" Rukia replied enthusiastically. "They opened a new cosplay shop last month and I've been dying to check it out. Let's go!"

Before Ichigo could respond, Rukia grabbed his hand and jumped off the roof, landing on her feet in a feline manner as Ichigo crashed face first into the ground. By the time he had recovered enough to yell at the petite shinigami, she was already at least 10 meters away.

"Geez," Ichigo muttered to himself, putting his hands in his pocket and walking in the same direction.

"Wow, look!" Rukia cried, her voice filled with awe.

Ichigo and Rukia were standing in front of a small shop decorated with pink and yellow ribbons. The sign read, 'Kurakara Cosplay Shop~ All your cosplay needs in one store! Grand Opening Sale~!' On display were two japanese maid uniforms. One, Ichigo recognized, was from He Is My Master. The other was unfamiliar. Next to those were a samurai outfit, complete with swords, and an Akatsuki cloak from Naruto. A blue wig indicated that it was Konan's.

"Ichigo, there's a sale!" Rukia gushed, and dragged him inside the shop.

"Yeah, yeah," Ichigo muttered as he followed. "I'm not paying though."

As they entered, both their eyes widened in awe. The shop was much bigger than it looked from the outside. When Ichigo saw Rukia watching him looking at all the outfits with his mouth practically wide open, he shut it promptly and pretended that he wasn't interested.

After a few minutes of meandering around the shop, touching everything (to the shop owner's dismay), Rukia looked at Ichigo.

"Ichigo, what shall we cosplay as?" Rukia asked.

Ichigo thought for a moment, remembering the Akatsuki cloak in the front, and replied, "Let's dress up as Naruto characters."

"Great idea!" Rukia exclaimed, and ran toward the back which was filled with ninja outfits.

As the two of them approached, they saw that there was only one Akatsuki cloak and one white dress with a single red sleeve, fishnets and bandages. Kurenai. Ichigo and Rukia looked at each other for a brief second, then they both lunged at the cloak.

"Get lost, Ichigo, I saw it first!" Rukia said as she pulled at a sleeve.

"Well, I got it first!" Ichigo muttered through gritted teeth, pulling harder at the other sleeve.

"But I knew about this store!"

"It was my idea to cosplay as Naruto characters!"

"IT WAS MY IDEA TO COSPLAY IN THE FIRST PLACE!"

"SILENCE."

Ichigo and Rukia turned to the loud voice, which was coming from the shop owner. He shuffled over and grabbed the cloak out of their hands.

"Don't ruin the merchandise!" he huffed. There was a glint in his eyes. "Play each other for it. Rock, paper, scissors. GO."

The two eyes each other.

"ROCK, PAPER, SCISSORS!"

Rukia cried out in horror, seeing the fist formed by her small hand and Ichigo's fingers spread out wide, as Ichigo fist pumped the air in victory. He gave her a smug grin as he snatched the cloak from the shop owner's frail hands and picked the Kurenai outfit from the rack. He took it to the cash register and, feeling blinded by his win, paid for both costumes.

The shop owner took the money and said, "Thank you." He paused and glanced at Rukia. "Miss, I think your costume will suit you very well."

Rukia shuddered, ignoring his comment and walked outside, clutching the dress in defeat. She and Ichigo walked to Ichigo's house and Ichigo went to take a shower. "I'll wear my costume after I'm done," he called as the bathroom door slammed shut.

As Rukia heard the water turn on in the bathroom, her eyes widened with the formation of a plan.

"Rukia, pass me the cloak!" Ichigo called from inside the bathroom. "...And a towel too!"

Rukia wrapped the costume in the towel and threw it into the bathroom without looking. Then she grabbed Ichigo's clothes, which were discarded on the floor, and ran out of the house.

Ichigo screamed in rage when he unwrapped the towel. He searched for the clothes he was wearing and found them missing. Then he groaned as he realized that Yuzu had put all his clothes in the laundry and they were all wet, tumbling in a washing machine at this very moment. He cursed loudly, changing into the Kurenai outfit as fast as possible, then ran after Rukia.
