Sooo.... Been a bad week.. My best friend's father passed away so I hadn't been able to work on this piece on the right time that I wanted to have it done... But it's done.

Ok, here is the contest entry for 's character redesign contest [link]

I kept some of Arvalis' original armor, which is explained in the redesign description below.

also i used 's brush for the egyptian hieroglyphs. THANKS!!

Here's the story behind the redesign.

While Arvalis is the re-incarnation of a god of destruction; what if another god was interested in this being?

During his travels, Arvalis enters a desert region(egypt we can say or based off it.) and as he ventures further through the sandy terran, he suddenly is engulfed by ominous black flames. But before he blacks out, he sees Anubis before him. When he wakes up, Arvalis goes to see that his armor has been changed up a bit and his scythe has been completely transformed.

Anubis, the god of the Afterlife aka Death is looking for a worthy warrior to be his judge for the living. Why does the god of the Afterlife need a judge for the living? Anubis deals with judging the souls that have already passed on. But through his godly circumstances, he cannot judge the living. So he wishes to send his chosen "living" champion to lay judgment on the people above. Why? No one can tell since the gods can do anything.

So from years of searching, Anubis sensed a powerful aura in the deserts and uses his flames to capture that person. Little did he know that this person was a god incarnated in a human body. Remanents of the god of destruction's power lay with Arvalis' original armor, so Anubis could not fully transform all of the armor. But before he let Arvalis go, he let his "judge" know that he must reign judgment on the living. Spare the innocent, sentence the corrupt.
