Here is my Teen Titans OC again, Shade. For the contest at ClubTeenTitansOC this time the theme was:
A blast from your OC's past!

Objective: Draw or write about your Teen Titans OC's backstory or at least one significant event in their past.

So here we have Shade who wasn't created as you might think, but was experimented on for years by professor Chang. Eventually Chang developed a chemical made up of multiple plant cells, and injected it into Shade who was a normal human at the time. The chemical painted itself into his skin like a tattoo, becoming a living part of him and changing him completely.

He breaks free with his new found powers ans becomes an anti hero. The pain of the chemicals on his skin constantly moving are as if needles are constantly prickling his skin.

So yeah now you know a little of his back story, poor guy ^^'
