This is Kadi and Ayden.

They are both my OC's. Kadi first appears in season 2 of SG-1 and later becomes part of the Stargate Atlantis crew at the beginning of season 2 (an episode after Ronon joins the crew).

In this scene she meets Ayden for the first time. He is considered the "runt" of the Hive as he does not exactly follow the Wraith culture, he would much rather be human than feed upon one. Kadi was captured by Todd (who is Ayden's adopted father by order of their Queen before she died) and was dumped in a cell. The Naeve are very valuable to the Wraith though their ancient magic protects them from being "eaten" by a Wraith. Ayden and Kadi soon form a bond (in other words they become friends and Ayden helps her escape) and Ayden falls hopelessly in love with her. Its never really determined if Kadi feels the same way though they do share a passionate kiss and by the very end of season 5 Ayden becomes fully human so as to live a human life - Kadi is married to Ronon by then though.

Kadi is very torn in her alliance when it comes to the Wraith. She hates that they feed off humans but also understands its their way of life, she's far more accepting of them then any of the others are. She and Todd become good friends as he appreciates "beauty" and finds Kadi exceptionally beautiful (inside and out).

Kadi is from a planet called Naeevin and her race of people are called "Naeves." Her people are pale in complexion with glitter covering their arms, legs, stomach, chest and face. All the inhabitants have white hair and depending on their status in society a coloured streak.

Status in Society

At the top: Royalty - they are born with a blue streak in their hair.

Beneath Royalty: Warriors - they are born with a red streak in their hair.

Beneath Warriors: Priests - they are born with a yellow streak in their hair.

Beneath Priests: Scientists - they are born with a purple streak in their hair.

At the bottom: Workers - they are born with a green streak in their hair.

As you can, Kadi is of royal blood. She's a Princess and has seven brother's and sister's. Her people are peaceful but do have an army that train daily in case of emergencies. However, many years ago a civil war broke out and her race was divided. Kadi is not permitted to cross the barrier in to the enemies territory. The enemy territory is ruled by a man born of royal blood who was driven by power and greed. He and Kadi's mother signed a treaty swearing they would not attack each other, but every day brings them closer and closer to a possible war. Fun fact: the man ruling the enemy territory is Kadi's father.

Her people contain ancient magic and Kadi possess the power of 'healing.'

Kadi spends most of her day exploring and collecting treasures, she is not as secretive and paranoid as the rest of her people. She wishes to explore other planet's and constantly gets in to trouble with her mother and the High Priest and Priestess. When Colonel Jack O'Neill and his men arrive, she is the first to greet them and take them to her mother. She fights for them, insisting they are not their enemy and begging her mother to let them stay as guests of the Royal family. She falls in love with Dr. Daniel Jackson.

She is then kidnapped by Ronon while exploring a planet alone and he helps her move on from her relationship with Daniel after he leaves her for his wife (who is now a Goa'uld). Ronon tells her that one day they will meet again and continues running from the Wraith. He was right as Kadi joins the Atlantis crew a couple of years later ^_^
