Description So after years of being a fan of the Sailor Moon manga but having never watched all of the anime, I spent some time marathoning the whole series. I wanted to draw some SM fanart, so I did this as sort of a style test. I'd like to do some commissions in this style.

I know a Sailor Earth/Tellus/Terra whatever is sort of a running joke in the fandom, though a lot of that has to do with the Mary Sue-style origins or total disregard for canon for a Earth Senshi to exist within the storylines. I decided to design a character based on parameters given within the canon manga story for fun.

While canonically, Mamoru holds the Golden Crystal and is the Guardian of the Planet Earth, I like the idea that the Golden Crystal, the Star Seed of Earth, has been passed down through the royal bloodlines of the Golden Kingdom through reincarnation (rather than inheritance, as the Silver Crystal of the Silver Millennium has). This means that every couple of generations, there is a member of the royal family born with the Golden Crystal sealed inside them. However, unlike the Silver Kingdom, the Golden Kingdom is a Patriarchy, and the Golden Crystal is primarily reincarnated through the male bloodlines, as with Endymion.

However, there would be the rare event that a girl of royal blood would inherit the Golden Crystal, awakening as Sailor Tellus. The appearance of Sailor Tellus is rare and nearly legendary, and her power is both revered and feared by the nobility and patriarchal society of the Golden Kingdom because she can more fully use the power of the Golden Crystal than the men in the bloodline. Because of this, she is forced to revoke any claim to the throne for the sake of peace within the kingdom, and has no title of Princess, instead becoming one of the Maenads of Elysion. These complications, coupled with the much shorter lifespan of humans compared to those of the Silver Millenium and it's longtime allies, makes her existence almost unknown amongst the Silver Millenium itself. Only if the planet was in dire peril would her power be called upon by those of the Golden Kingdom.

Make up:
Golden Crystal Power, Make up!

Attacks-
Terra Rose Gripping: A rose plant is summoned from within the ground, and their thorny vines surround and entrap an enemy
Telamon Barrier: A powerful protective barrier, used in defense of herself or others
Golden Technique - Elysion Strike: A powerful direct strike with the royal sword, channeling the Golden Crystals power for more damage
Golden Technique - Atlas Rift: A cleaving blow meant to disrupt the terrain, uses the Golden Crystal's power to carve out a rift along the ground

I once had an idea for a character very similar to this, but It was beyond my own artistic ability. Welp. I'm still glad to see it.

Shoulda made the power Atlas Shrugged, in which she says fuck y'all to the golden kingdom and then just goes into investment banking, only to say fuck it to that too, when she learns she has to pay earth taxes.

(All kidding aside this is pretty cute!)

In the end she decides on a simple career in landscaping, where she secretly uses her powers to create unparalleled works of art with flowers and whatever. Her business is the top in the industry, and the amount of money she makes lets her cover up the occasional collateral damage when her powers split a mansion or two apart much easier.

(YAAAY you're alive! And thank you )

Yes! Very much alive! and way less sick..... I ended up staying sick for about 6 months all in all. I think I just got massive stress body-doesn't-work illness or something. It was fucking awful! ANYWAY! Are you going to Sakura con this year? I'd love to actually meet up instead of going "Oh hey, I said I would meet up but I'm going to go be sick bye"

I might be able to one or two days, it really depends on my moneys. I am super broke because my job doesn't pay very well so I'm trying to get some commissions started to curb that. If I do go, it might be Sunday because it's the cheapest day/free parking, but I'm not sure going into Sakuracon on a Sunday would be worth it.

I live in Bellevue now though so I'm closer, I could always just drop in on Seattle and hang out!

This is all true! If you happen to stop by you should let me know! I SHOULD be there all 3 days... though there's no accounting for sunday being boring.
