Description Sorry for the glare at the bottum of this.. took the picture of it outside and the acrylic paint is very reflective. And in blurring... this is my project for mt Color and Design class. We were to use the color combonations of complimentary, split-complimentary, and analogous... so lots and lots of color combos to use... and lots of paint.. we had to do this on a 20"x30" board. Biggest thing I've ever painted on. I will be making some changes on this, as suggested by my teacher, but this is the finished product so far. I got an A for this

It's beautiful, to say the least. It also reminds me of that Bastet statue I have in my room, but mine's small and it has this exact same pose. I once used that same statue for a school project; two different paintings, actually. One featured the statue from the front with multiple bright colors that I took the liberty of mixing and matching, making it festive and bright. The second was dull and dark; somewhat morose in tone and in mood. But hey, yours reminded me of that little school project.

Yeah, I also took inspiration from a small Bast statue I have... it's gold plated pewter, very pretty. thank sounds cool. How big of a board did you have to paint your's on?

My statue is made of a solid substance, possibly stone. I don't remember what size of a board I painted, but I remember using acrylics and some special paper to do the two paintings. It was in my high school senior art class.
