Wow. Just wow.
I don't know what exactly makes this so insanely amazing, but it is. Perhaps because L shines like a light against the darkness...perhaps this is more his true side, his "soul" if you will.

I play around with filters and modes with my pictures before finishing too. XD Pencil sketches make nice inverts, like on a chalkboard.
