This is amazing!

I was thinking of doing a project involving collaged newspaper and watercolor as well. Would you mind sharing how you collaged the paper so it wouldn't wrinkle and some other tips such as layering or effects?

Well, honestly nothing special...
I just paste the paper pieces with paper glue and added some little white acrylic to make a bit of texture too. When everything was dry I started with the watercolor!^^

I have pictures of him from a calendar that I had hanging over my bed. My fiancΓ© is quite jealous of him and calls him Rudolph the red nose reindeer. haha I always have to remind him that he doesn't have to worry since Rudy has been gone for over 80 years now.

I looked through your gallery, and I really liked your work (especially the black and white and the Siouxsie and the Banshees fan-art! ), but I think this is your most striking piece! The way Valentino is staring at the viewer and the awesome texture gives it such an atmosphere to it...

How did you do this newspaper texture in it? I mean, how do you fuse it togehter? Glue the (news)paper on the canvas and paint over?
I saw this method already on other paintings and always wondered, how it is made. I like this technique!

Yes, I just glued the newspaper with the help of some acrylic chalk on the paper (yes, this is done on watercolor paper!^^), then I let it dry, and go on with the painting!
