This... is smack dab in the uncanny valley for me.
I really like it. The shading is outstanding, as are the textures on Pinkie's mane/tail and coat. And I love everything about how she looks, I think, except how squashed her face appears, and possibly how big her head is as a whole. Something about that just really, really creeps me out. So I'm kind of at a loss here. This is simultaneously some of your best work, I think, and some some of my least favorite.

Second look: Ears, too. I think the ears may be much too small, thinking about what I've seen on the show and elsewhere.

Yeah, there's definitely not enough curve in the left side of her face, but I think I have to disagree about her head being overall too large. The eyes are disproportionate and kinda wrong though. They're stuck somewhere between the flat plastered-to-the-surface-of-a-perfect-sphere look that the show uses and some kind of actual shape definition.
I'd be nice if I could do a really nice pose and design and put a lot of polish into the shading. At the same time. It always seems to be one or the other. I should lurk more art streams. Seems to be motivational.

Ah, don't get me wrong on this one. I think this is a very noticeable improvement over a lot of your early stuff, and I definitely think you're moving in the right direction here. I do feel like Pinkie looks kind of weird, but she looks very professionally weird, I think.
If watching streams is going to get you to draw more stuff like this, then I say have at 'em!
