Maybe Celestia got some hairstyling tips from the Maneiac.A thing. It's rougher than I'd like, but it's just a random idea I had, and I'm really not feeling up to polishing it any more right now, especially when I keep thinking about how I should be doing more important things.
Speaking of polish, sai is somewhat lacking when it comes to touching up and post effects, but gimp is an incredible pain to use because of it's weird bugs. The most egregious of which is the bit where it will corrupt the undo history if the cursor leaves the image pane while you're making a stroke with a stylus.

Omg! You did so amazing on the shading, it looks like a 3d model! I can still see the strokes so I know that you drew it. You must have worked so hard and practiced a LOT to have such an amazing talent. 3D-like shading is extremely difficult and yours looks so cool. *Fangirling*

I see what you mean about her hairstyle. And despite the roughness it is still a nice piece and I believe one of the most vividly colorful works I've seen of yours. The very shiny metallic gleam to her regalia is also quite nice.
Overall it's a pretty piece so even with its rough bits it's still quite pleasant to look at. Keep up the impressive work.

I do like this piece a lot, actually. Despite my unwillingness to iron out all the little bits, on the large scale, I think it's a really good composition, there's lots of interesting form in her hair and wings, and the bright light in the corner, while it doesn't make a whole lot of sense physically, gives a nice diagonal symmetry to the frame. That and I finally did some nice bright saturated color.
Anyway, thanks, and I sure hope to keep it up.

it is quite elegant, though, and I like that realistic shadow she has.
