This is a collaboration with the awesome Celebi-Yoshi ! (her post is here , check it out) Bask in her amazing sparkle cloud skills! She got her cutie mark in it!This started a few months ago when I drew a sketch in someone's sketchbook at BronyCon and she wanted to color it, but the photo was kind of unclear and the sketch was kind of loose and it didn't work out so well, so I made a digital 'lestia sketch instead, and then I guess life happened. Fast forward to now-abouts and Ponycon is coming up. She decided it would make a good print, and finished it up. We'll be selling these there!

I favorited this twice and it's still not enough. Β In love everything here; the combination of hard/soft edges, her expression, the angle, the composition, the colors, the pose, the light through her feathers, even the muted sparkles.

You two did a gorgeous job bringing Princess Celestia to life in all of her joyful and majestic glory. Despite the awesome power it must take to climb so high for such a special view of the cosmos she still looks almost child-like with that wonderful smile of sheer awe and carefree and almost motionless pose. All of her forms are fantastic, and you did an incredible job with the shading β especially the shadows with the light of the aurora shining down on her like a magical sunbeam. Between that and the texturing techniques she has a great feeling of depth and also a soft, sweet glow about her.

That face is too pretty, with her eyes really shining with her inner beauty. Awesome job on her slender yet broad wings, again great textures, and her mane and tail are an excellent 3D representation of the show style, especially the billowing feel and such a great mix of colors plus sparkling. The background is gorgeous, besides the heavenly light it's sweet that we can also see the stars and crescent moon, plus with the clouds "out of focus" it adds to the softness while highlighting the princess wonderfully.
