The original trilogy of the Spyro games are getting remastered with better sound and better graphics. As a fangirl, it's the best thing to happen to my favourite game.

Aw skylanders is what ruined spyro in my opinion. There was nothing wrong with the game or it's gameplay, just the fact that they used spyro as a marketing ploy ya know? If I were you, I'd definitely recommend trying another spyro game like the remaster or even the TLOS series. :3

It might be a year after the initial release before it's ported over to other systems. I'm literally buying a PlayStation just to get this game when it's released later this year. Did you play the original spyro? Owo

I was very little, and didn't get much done in Enter the Dragonfly, but I've heard it's bare and glitchy.

AAAHHH I know! I wish I was able to get a ps4 for or if i buy the game! I recently played spyro 2 and 3 and relieved my childhood when i heard rumours about the remaster and 100% everything on spyro 3 (spyro 2 is a bit more difficult for me and i get easily frustrated and stressed and i couldn't find the last of the gems on a few levels epsecially the one with the tutrles)

Ah that's too bad. It was really good for it's time. Tbh I prefer it the other way around, but I get the feeling you'll love the remaster of the first game if it lives up to the original. It was so HARD

It was probably hard because it didn't have the flutter feauture, but as a kid i found the second game really difficult and i was afraid of the bosses so my siblings had to defeat the bosses for me. XD
But yeah! I think I would enjoy playing the first game of the remaster since it looks so pretty and cool in the trailer (of course I know it's not complete and some changes will probably be made such as gem placement, chests and minor details).

It sure is. The origanal games wete epic and classic. Always prefered the old spyro of my childhood to the remakes and Skylanders.
Hehe my sister borrowed my ps4 to play Crash Bandicoot. Now she wants to keep it for Spyro. I want it back.

Not to mention that the old spyro had the cutest running cycle. His new one for the remaster is so bouncy and he's so cute and chubby again! I see skylanders as what ruined him, I actually quite enjoyed TLOS and the trilogy personally.

Hehe Im just so hyped. TLOS wasnt too bad - could have been better and could have been worse. Skylanders killed it for me.
I know compared to modern games it will be short - but Im so excited for all the new colours and music.

I screamed when I saw the leaked screenshots and had a heart attack when I found out it was finally for real. I actually went and bought the original game off of eBay to play before getting the remaster. And this is honestly going to save spyro from his grisly skylanders demise. Kids will finally know the real spyro. :'D
