Lovely composition on this photo! Where was it taken? Black rhino are so very rare in the wild... I spent some time at Ngorongoro Crater and was unlucky enough to never spot one while I was there.

South Africa! Yeah, I've heard that SA's one of the few places where you can really get to see rhinos now. Sounds like it was pretty cool!

Yeah, its an amazing place along with the rest of Africa. Unfortunately with all the poaching the numbers are fast decreasing

Rhinos have it rough enough in their habitat, they don't need stupid monkeys chasing after their hornsΒ‘ XD

Not all black rhinos are extinct. Its the western black rhino and northern white rhino. We now left with 5 species of rhino left. Hopefully people can catch a wake up before we loose them to

Yeah just one sub-spieces, the West African black rhino. This one is South-western black rhino, currently critically endangered.

Beautiful shot

People actually think Rhino horns can cure cancer and work as an aphrodisiac?

First shark fining and now THIS?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

NagWolf In reply to Shippuden23 [2011-07-20 14:44:00 +0000 UTC]
