Umm...the beast of Gevaudan was a werewolf-esque sort of creature..not a cockatrice. Very good artwork, but you might want to doublecheck your historical sources in the future.

Looks more like a cocatrix than the Bête du Gévaudan, which was something between a big wolf, a great dog and a psychopath killer dressed with the pelt of a wolf... Anyway, has a great touch and atmosphere
