So here's my entry for s art exchange, s OC Altair! I was so happy when I saw her, I love drawing wings and feathers, so a winged OC was perfect! Also I decided to paint on toned paper because I thought it would fit her colour scheme very nicely. Anatomy is quite off, though, I'm afraid... her head's too big and her right leg and arm look too short... the perspective there got kind of lost somewhere between lines and colouring. Proportions are much harder on such a large scale. Well, large scale for me, who usually only draws on 2,5x3,5" paper. Buuut we're pracitising ^^"
First I wanted to essentially draw this from the other side, to show her from behind. But then I couldn't figure out how the vest and the wings are supposed to work together ^^" In the chibi form in the ref sheet it works well, but in a more realistic style the wings reach down far more than the open "sleeve" of the vest... Anyway, this way I could show off more of her clothes and the pendant, so it's alright, I guess.

Oh wow! This looks awesome :0 I love all the detail and texturing! Also the shading on the wings, white is very difficult but it looks great.
(I can never say no to art of this oc either)

OMG she looks amazing in your style! As a digital artist, I always enjoy a lot traditional art and I love to see my characters drawn traditionally because that's something I can't do myself. You have a point on the wing-vest issue, I really need to fix the ref asap and add a back view to make everything clear.
