For the 411 day contest at the botanical-hearts group. Shit I hope I'm not too late. Posting first in hopes of making the dateline (cause I'm not actually sure when that is) and will edit comments later.

Scene from Movie: Uh, shoot. Closest scene would either be the one when Silver (tried to) give Jim a driving lesson on the little boat thing (except Jim was already a pro) when 'I'm Still Here' played in the movie. (Not that I'm implying there was anything romantic in said scene)

And then I went and read the rules (which you're supposed to do before doing the deviation...Argh!) So I don't think it's gonna qualify, but that's okay, I learned a lot making this deviation, so it's not like I'm going away empty handed. Ahahahaaha *sob*

Anyway, I wanted to do Marly and Vexen in Treasure Planet. Whee. So they're in one of those space ship things, and they're in space, and they were driving along fine and dandy then suddenly this massive exploding star (which I hate. if I wasn't rushing so much, I could probably do a better job of it. It's so FUGLY *bawls*) pops out of nowhere and they kinda almost die. And Marly's having too much fun driving like a madman. In the original sketch (can you see that it was first drawn in a sketchbook?) Vexen's supposed to be freezing chunks of exploding stars and diverting 'em away so that they don't get shot down, but since I couldn't figure out how to draw said exploding star, there weren't any chunks for him to freeze. So he's just doing what he does best: Nag.

Don't you just love it when a romantic date goes wrong?

IF I NEVER SEE ANOTHER HEXAGON AGAIN IT WILL BE TOO SOON. God, the sails were a nightmare!!! The whole picture is so fugly! Yet I spent so much time on it!!! (I think the only bit I like is the stars. The poofy round ones, not the one's with spiky ends. Because they were the easiest part of the picture.)

Yes, I talk a lot when I'm upset. I shall stop now. However, if you love me, and/or if you have any amount of compassion in you, you will not let me do something like this ever again.
