Description My first, unaltered sketch concepts of cub Ahadi as seen in my comic "Betrothed". Like Uru, he didn't change much at all from these first drawings although my style improved tremendously as time went on and I drew him more. Also like Uru, I never made any adult concept art of him, though when it came time to draw his adult form, I wished I did. Manes were not my forte then.

I did! But then, never have three generations (of the same family) ever looked the same; like Ahadi, Mufasa and Simba!!

Yep. Everyone looks a little different, but the resemblence is there. (I've seen anough old family photos to know that it's a fact. )

True. That's what sets families apart, in a community: Similar genes! Which is why Taka has only Uru's genes -- in the familial settings, he's only related (by genetics) to his mother only! Whereas Mufasa's DNA is derived from both Ahadi AND Uru!!

Thanks! I used inspiration from that expression for when Ahadi and Uru are talking with Zuzu.
