Description
For Dragon Week 2 I decided to create Dahssia performing her threat display, meaning what she does when she's frightened, angry or about to fight.

It's the first tine of her defenses if she feels she cannot flee, to make herself look as big as possible, and like something you don't want to tangle with. If that fails to deter a threat, she'll make the scariest noise she can, which isn't a growl, roar, hiss or screech. Its a hollow kind of rushing sound from her chest cavity, like a propane tank being filled or turning on a gas burner before it's lit. It means precisely that, too. She's about to use her breath-weapon (being fire), and while it doesn't last long (about a minute at most), it's incredibly hot and she has good aim with it.

Her spines are flexible and sharp, and are her only on-body defense, as she has no scales. They poof out much like hackles, again in an instinctual effort to make herself much bigger looking than she really is.
