Mona Donati (モナドナーティ) is a member of the group of mercenaries known as the Wild Geese. She is an ally of Hellsing and has a very close relationship with Pip Bernadotte. Her Japanese voice actor in the anime and OVA is Miyuki Sawashiro. Her English voice actor in the OVA is Michelle Ruff.

Mona is a short girl but a bit taller than Seras Victoria. She has brown hair and sand eyes and speaks with a light Italian accent.
Her most notable features are her long low pigtails and scowl. She usually wears a green hat, and an orchid colored scarf. She wears a green military uniform with black boots and gloves. Unlike Pip, Mona isn’t a compulsive smoker. She’ll only smoke once a day.

Mona is a headstrong woman. She is strong brave, and always taking orders, mostly from Pip. She considered to be Pip's shadow, always going where he goes to assist him in any way possible. Like Seras she is loyal and trustworthy. Mona never shows any emotion, but this was broken after Pip's death. She always cares for her allies and comrades, putting herself on the line to keep them safe.

The Wild Geese were hired by Walter Dornez at the end of Volume 2 as replacements for the soldiers killed during the Valentine Brothers’ invasion of the Hellsing Manor. When meeting Seras, Mona disliked her when she gave Pip multiple flicks to his face. When Alucard entered the room, she wasn’t phased at all but like her fellow mercenaries, she was fully convinced that vampires existed.
Once the Wild Geese began working at Hellsing Manor, Mona tagged along with Pip, Alucard and Seras to Rio de Janerio, Brazil, in order to find leads on the mysterious Millennium organization. When Alucard and Seras are attacked by BOPE units, Pip and Mona snuck into the Brazilian officials' camp and killed them with a bomb. They hijacked a helicopter to help Alucard and Seras escape.
When they returned to England, Mona did not join Pip at the emergency conference, instead trained with her fellow mercenaries at the shooting range.
During the Millennium's invasion of London, Mona, Pip, Seras and the Wild Geese were tasked with defending Hellsing Manor. When Zorin's forces had bypassed the minefield and breached Hellsing Manor, the Wild Geese were now to stall the vampires while Seras ambushed and killed them. During the battle, Mona was barricaded inside the conference room with Pip and a few of the Wild Geese. When the barricade was attacked with a bazooka and wounding Pip, Mona stood and defended her comrades. Luckily Seras arrived to destroy Zorin's troops in time. When seeing Pip wounded and dying, Mona's scowl finally broke and turned into a heartbreaking frown. Once he died, she broke down crying and yelled at him to stop playing around and wake up. When Seras left to London, Mona is holding onto Pip's body.
30 years later, Mona is the new captain of the new generation of the Wild Geese and is now wearing Pip's hat. Her and Seras have become good friends over those past years. She is last seen at Pip's grave, which she requested for him to be buried.

Mona is of Italian origin. Her family was part of the Mafia, and it is unknown what happened to them. For most of her life she was an orphan, basically raised and defended herself. This is possibly the reason to her emotionless attitude. When she was 13, Mona was found by Pip and he took her in, joining the Wild Geese. Like Pip and the Wild Geese, Mona primarily uses a AK-74 assault rifle. Being trained under Pip, she has skills with firearms and military tactics.

Mona's personality can be described like Zui Li's from Legend of Korra.
