Experimental drawing. It's been raining for days now, I feel a bit sluggish these days...
I had the inital sketch-doodle back for couple of weeks now, which was inspired by On rainy days. ..by GentlePeace .
Done with copic and promarkers.

I love the way you create the emotional depth of this drawing, from the darkness and rain hovering near by, to the quiet look on her face, and the warm cup at her feet. There is a tension between the light and shadow, but it's almost as if the light is originating from her, in spite of the rain.
Beautifully done.
(Such a joy to just quietly wander through your gallery....)

Ahh I almost forgot this picture. Thank you for your nice comment and remarks. This was also some of the "story telling" picture (those 2 years were rather good turn point in my art), so I am glad you like it. I still adore the coloscheme Btw.. I am working on a picture that has a similar setting. Funny you found this picture around this time.

I would love to know what the other picture is you're talking about... though I have to say I can see a lot of similarities in many of the other paintings/drawings you have done, from the way you reflect on your inner world, to your use of color. (Yes, love your colors here -- almost like a B&W, but with the soft greens and blues.
She does look like someone who has experienced a difficult time, but has come through it stronger, and more confident in who she is and where she is.
It's a great image of Hope.

I know how you feel...Rainy days are a bummer for anyone.
It rained all Halloween morning here in Houston, and I was afraid the trick-or-treaters wouldn't come.
luckily it cleared up by the afternoon...just in time for trick-or-treat.
