I remember when I was here for the first time, soaked by the rain, eaten by the night, drained by the emptyness of my heart. Standing on the brink of despair in a world without you. In my heart, I tried to make you whole. You were the one who completed me in the end.Under a bright blue sky, I know now - we've never been apart, it was just too dark for me to see you in my arms.

This scenery reminds me so much of The Brink Of Despair in The World That Never Was. Maybe Riku came back after it all and saw the eternal night to be gone. Everything has changed, including him, in a moment of sheer wonder.

I agree, the scenery is just about perfect in that sense. And it's such a wonderful thought; that land of darkness being lightened finally. I think your pose even communicates exactly what Riku's reaction would be here- a bit of surprise, wonderment, and a great deal of nostalgia and self-reflection. ^^
Riku still stands of the threshold of darkness, but with Sora there are so many options; a vast blue sky full of opportunity and light. Lovely, thank you for sharing.
