Is there a way to use shaders with this?

I feel like I'm doing something wrong, no matter how I change the scale file I have no exact control over size. my model keeps shooting up immensely

Ok, I am using the 4.0 version and I get to the scale.fx load part, but when I edit the values, my model stays the same size. I dont know whats going wrong. I think I might be that MME didnt load the effect or something? (if its possible, could I use the 5.0 version? Maybe that helps?)

Hey, I know I'm quite late, but hopefully I can still help. I had the same issue as you and ended up using version 5.0. You may not need to change it, I didn't test this, but the was you resize isn't the same way shown here. You see the facial expression box? The Green one at the bottom. Drag the slider and it will resize your model. Eyes increase size while Mouth Decreases.

But how do you get the skeletal mesh to be aligned with the larger/smaller model??

how to do i make the camera follow the tiny model ( i wanna make a vid with a tiny person running from a giant {i yet to find a motion or pose good enough})

The way I did it, was that I went to the Camera Tab and click the Drop-Down tab that says "Follow Bone" then I selected the bone of the model I wanted the camera to follow... It might not be perfectly aligned, so that's why I positioned the camera so that I can see the model, while the camera is following the bone..... At least, that's how I did it

It's there in the details in the onedrive link, should be called "version 04"

Most interesting, i'll use it when I try to do one. It'll be a pov one. Most likely vorish.

But then I can't make people small or the background large without the skeletal mesh being disaligned :/
...Or is that the point to having multiple scale control files?

Any tutorial you could recommend for how to use MMD? How to move models, etc? I'm brand new to the program.

That's great, I am assuming you are using the scale v0.0.4 package I uploaded
I kinda buggered up not realizing that there was a new version to the one I use that doesn't seem to change the max size when you crank the numbers up

There will be a few more parts coming out, hopefully one or two coming out this weekend
I am actually in a rut with MMD at the moment myself as I am trying to figure out how to get kinect to work with it, the tutorials out there haven't helped me much

Yep
Yep
I am going to go into this on the next tutorial ish, but if you have 2 scale controls loaded, both attached to different models, and say I wanted a model at 5,5,5 on the scalel bone, but I want her to pick up a tiny I almost always have another scalel bone running at -5,-5,-5
It may be a little finniky, but you can take the effect off the big one making it normal sized unsing mme, but while doing that add your second version of scalel to the stuff that is meant to be tiny
I dont think I explained it very well, but essentially its what I do here at the end of the tutorial, but I have multiple scale effects loaded in to easily switch between what model I want to pose

Okay, just understand that you can't have a scaled model and have the bone mesh match with the model
I know you can do this in MMM, but I have no idea how to use MMM
