Even though I said I probably wouldn't post anything involving my manga, 'Backlash'...I couldn't help but share this (and the far image to the right can be seen [[here too]] !) considering how ridiculous it is, lmao.
2001- Prang and Ticonderoga colour pencils on printer paper.
- Random anime guy, nothing more than a jumbled idea.
2002- Crayola and Ticonderoga colour pencils on cardstock.
- Mako, gets a name and a girlfriend..and weird clothes.
2003- Ticonderoga colour pencils and Sharpie on cardstock.
- Trying to develop a personality and "environment" too.
2004- Crayola colour pencils and Sharpie on cardstock.
- Idea of "neutral" element changes clothing theme.
2005- Crayola colour pencils and Sharpie on cardstock.
- Story, friends, atmosphere etc..but still not final.
* 4 year time frame of me being too intimidated to work on things *
2009- Prisma markers, Crayola pencils, Sharpie on cardstock.
- More aesthetically pleasing revamp & style change. (:

Wow, interesting. I love crap like this. I also really dig his new sleeves, I dunno why, they're just cool ok? heh.
I like the random belts on the 2005 image as well though, but i'm a sucker for random belts lol.
It is interesting to see the aspects that remained mostly unchanged actually, the hair, his eye.

AW, I am a SAD Neko that I missed all those red Makos. XD They are truly... erm... AMAZING. I love the one with the spirit seals hanging off his pants. Totally not functional, but I can't talk much because I'm pretty sure I had a character with pants like that at some point.
You have progressed so much woman! And there's a clear change from each Mako to the next, like you left behind something bad and only took the best parts onto the next one.
The first one is seriously making me lol though (no offense). He's just so macho. *will comment on the most recent Mako on the actual image lol*

I think a hybrid of the 2005 and 2009 would make him a little more interesting to the eyes, but since I don't know anything about your manga or the character, my opinion is just based off of appearances.
