By the way, what program/brush was used for this?

I drew this in Photoshop Elements 9. I did a rough sketch of what I wanted to draw then started using layers. For each color I used a different layer, so one for the hair, then the head, then under that on for the neck. I also had a layer for the face separately. I'm not totally sure, but I believe I did all the shading in 2 different layers-- one for darker shades and one for highlights (eg the darkest part of the hair and the lightest brown of the hair) All the finer details like the single hair strands, eyelashes, shine on lip, and eyebrows were done in one top layer.
As for the brushes, I don't know the names off the top of my head. But I do know that for the base colors, eyelashes, lips, and blush I used the default brush. And for the shading and hair strands I used only brushes in the "Dry Media" brush folder. The computer I'm on right now doesn't have PSE, but I'll check the names for you and comment the brush names. X3
I used a lot of Deviantart lineless art tutorials to draw this thing. Also, Brittney Lee was (and is) a HUGE color inspiration to me.

You did this with no line art? Wow.
Did you use a sketch or was it completely on the spot?

I believe it was done completely on the spot. I did sketched the face and neck using the skin color, but that was filled in with no erasing of the original lines.

Well I am truly impressed... ...again.
Just a quick suggestion, I'm not against watermarks, in fact most of my art on here uses them. But just as a suggestion, try not to have the focal point of the art piece (in this case the face) be in the center of the picture if your going to use a water mark. This is because the water mark will obscure the focal point, like here it is hard to see her face and make out her features.
This is just a suggestion, you can totally ignore it if you want, or even hide this comment if you so desire..

Yeah, I wanted a watermark on it from the beginning. I was actually hoping that it would be near her face, on some sketches they seems less noticeable, I was disappointed when I saw how obvious the mark was this time. I agree with you though, it is hard to make out some of the details and ... Ever since Jazz-DaFunk had piracy issues here I've been afraid of art thieves.
No need to hide it!

Don't worry I definitely know how you feel. I don't want art thieves either.
Maybe you could make your own Watermark with whatever program you use. Create a picture that is transparent yet is still noticeable and add it as a layer to all your pictures.
