Cale's expressions are spot on, and easily recognizable, any tips for anthro expressions?

It depends how realistic you want your anthros to be, are they more animal than human? Mine have more human expressions.
Doing a ton of face studies helps a lot. I just recently did some practise for animation that turned like this [link] slight variations to the same expression can create a totally new one
