I hope this doesn't look too much like a start to a Disney-style musical number... :"D The pose in the last panel didn't turn out quite as planned but oh well.

Also, while drawing this I developed a massive headcanon of how this AU would work out, somewhat inspired by Alesya 's portal!lock fanart and especially her version of Moriarty-core. Basically SHERLoCK is a more benevolent version of GLaDOS who, after some initial taunting, grows fond of John and decides to let him go back to the surface. Moriarty, who has been planning on usurping SHERLoCK's control over the facility, uses the opportunity to take over and then as a finishing move sends John and the remains of SHERLoCK's core down into the abandoned parts of Holmes Laboratories. There, while trying to find a way back up, they're guided by the recordings of one M. Holmes, the founder of the facility, whose voice is really oddly familiar to SHERLoCK...
