Actually, I requested that she draw Kagome's hair down instead of in the traditional wigged style. It goes with a story I am writing, and since Hiei's mother is not living, there was no need for her to have "horns of jealousy" to hide with a tsuno kakushi. ^_^

Heh heh! I guess we all have our own preferences when it comes to fanart, just like anything else. Some people prefer the characters be drawn exactly like the original manga artist did. I really love to see my favorite characters drawn in different artists' original styles. As a matter of fact, I was really curious to see what Lady Shieru's Hiei would look like and jumped at the chance to commission her to draw him. I think her take on Hiei's hair is pretty damn cool. (As well as the way she draws the rest of him! Woohoo! ^_~ It's a more realistic-looking style rather than so cartoonish.) She has all the elements of the original look, but gave it her own unique flair. She drew several pictures for me, -- did you see the others? She did do one where his hair looks more traditional. I love them all! ^_^

This is perfect! The pose is simply lovely, and I love the positioning of their hands. They give such a beautiful feel to this. The wedding clothing is gorgeous, and very authentic-looking, right down to the folds at the bottom of her uchikake, which show its length. Wonderful attention to detail! The way Hiei is looking at her just makes me sigh in contentment. ^_^ And Kagome makes the picture-perfect bride. You definitely made the right choice to go with her hair down instead of the wig and 'horn cover.' It's just the right touch for the whole mood. And I am just tickled pink with Jii-chan! The big smile on his face and the way he is standing are just right. He's so cute, I just want to hug him! ^_^ I like the differences in their skin tones, and your lines are wonderfully clean. Your style is so beautiful, it just lends itself to romantic scenes like this.
Now, I am really on the spot, though, -- this gorgeous picture is an UPCOMING scene in my next chapter of "Black Widow Miko." So, this is a spoiler. Hee hee! I have to get busy and get that chapter finished and posted now. ^_^ Thanks so much for sharing your talent with me this way! I love it!
