Man alive, I heart Katanagatari. I heart its art and its style and that manwhore Shichika's retarded maple hair and all dem other wacko thematic character designs enough to put up with each episode's tl;dr ramblings because it's just. So. Pretty! Yeeeesh I'm shallow.([link] alt version here. Personally I'm a bigger fan of the red color scheme, but my gallery already HAZ TOO MUCH REDS as it is. Red and I have been trying to take a break from our relationship but we still want each other so, so bad. I also rather prefer it when it's less prettied up and sh*t but I didn't want to cop out on effort...! Cuz I heart you guys too. )

I confess I rather like this version a lot more than the alt version you posted a link to, mainly because I thought the color contrast made the picture more striking.
But dang, wonderful composition and wonderful lineart. Amazing as always.

Love it!!! Both color schemes look great, but I think I prefer this one simply because the character pops a little more from the background. Then again, I've been having a love affair with blues and greens, so that could be my own color preference kicking in. D: The pose looks amazing.
